First out of the gate in spring.... Vernal Witch Hazel.... very unusual 'flowers'.... exciting to see.... life comes back to the garden once again.....

found ya! Are the witch hazel flowers harvest-able? Usable for anything?
I don't know.... I think the witchhazel extract comes from the bark but I'm not too sure.... hhhmmmm...
