The back garden is still in flux... I don't think I'll ever be 'done' with this.... there's always stuff to do but I just can't seem to get the hardscape completed.... It would help if I did'nt change my mind so much!

The garden was started 2 years ago, and plants are getting established and filling in..... I'm sure I'll be doing some shuffling and rearranging again this year.... I'm happy with the results though.

At attention!!!

Spring.... I think?

Is it here?... everyone I seem to speak to, wishes it would arrive...
This winter has been one of the coldest I've ever encountered in my 20 years in this area... and it seems like that chill is'nt finished with us yet. I've been looking very closely at the ground though, and life is coming back... crocus, snowdrops and the vibrant green of dafodil and tulip leaves are poking up everywhere!
Just click your heels together and repeat 3 times... there's no time like spring......
Okay, so maybe I'm overly optimistic... but I am craving being in the garden again, prepping soil and itching to plant for a full harvest.... I'm getting there though... two trays of compost plugs loaded with seeds have started to germinate and tiny shoots are popping up like middle age chin hairs!... (except you would rip those things out in an instant)...and I'm ready to get another couple of trays started!

First out of the gate in spring.... Vernal Witch Hazel.... very unusual 'flowers'.... exciting to see.... life comes back to the garden once again.....
